People like to call me parshu, probably because my name falls into the  "Damn! I can never get your name right" category. I am from Bangalore and kind of an old fashioned guy. I miss the good old Bangalore, the way it was 10 years ago. Though I do stuff with computers and coding most of the time, i definitely don't call myself a "geek" nor am I one :)

In short, I work on Search Engines and related stuff. I actually hold a mechanical engineering degree and would still love to work on automobile design and stuff given a chance, but somewhere down the line I fell in love with coding and computers and decided to get a Masters in computer science . I currently work as the Director of R&D at Conductor, Inc in New York City. I was a Tech Lead and Engineer for a long time at Yahoo! Inc doing some stuff to improve Yahoo's Search relevance and a whole bunch of other cool stuff.
